Quantum Process Tomography

Coherent state Quantum Process Tomography (csQPT) is achieved with relatively simple optical measurements by probing a quantum system with only a sufficient set of weak laser pulses and measuring the corresponding output. We have highlighted the potential for this method by using it to characterize a room-temperature EIT N-type scheme. The simplicity and robustness of this characterization procedure provide an universal tool for the characterization of multi-state quantum components.
